Time Lines was my first computer generated animation and was made in 1982 at Simon Fraser University.

This 2½-minute "movie" was created on an Evans & Sutherland Picture Systems II and recorded frame by frame to 16mm film.

The original soundtrack was created by John S. Gray.

The full 2½-minute film has been "lost", but this 29-second excerpt (below) still exists.

Also, Included here will be pages about Time Lines II, a 2½-minute CG animation created between 2024 and 2026.

It opens with a re-creation of an excerpt from the original 1982 Time Lines animation, and uses the full, original soundtrack by John S. Gray.

In addition, I'll be including pages about a 2 minute animation titled, Ground Level.

Back in 2024, My intention was to create some new CG still frames, but Ground Level took on a life of its own and evolved into Time Lines II. So, this is a simpler, alternate version.

And lastly, I'll include some pages about re-creating that 29 second wireframe animation excerpt from the original 1982 animation on a modern CG system.

It wasn't as simple and straight forward as I expected.
